California’s Water Law, Policy and Regulation:
Coping with Drought, Floods and the New Federal Administration

This year’s rain and snowpack brought a sigh of relief to water suppliers and agencies tasked with overseeing California’s water systems. But the promise of a healthy summer water-wise was not without problems, and winter flooding foregrounded the state’s aging water control infrastructure.
